Merino wool is particularly recommended for felting by means of the nuno technique (“nuno” in Japanese means “fabric”). The fine merino wool is, compared to other wools, especially soft, does not itch and keeps you warm at the same time. You can make for example a unique scarf combining wool with silk! First, felt dry shaped wool shreds on a silk scarf by rubbing them in a circular pattern. Then use the Rayher Mega felting fluid to continue to felt wet.
